Mobile app and location
The mobile app lets you browse the catalogue, save favourites and create a local itinerary. It may request location access only when you open the map and choose to use that feature; it does not track you in the background or keep a travel history. If you do not grant permission, the map remains available without your location.
Catalogue, photos and technical services
Public pages are read from Supabase, and images published by the administrator are stored and delivered through Cloudflare R2. Google Maps may receive the technical data needed to display the map when you open it. Content administration is limited to authorised accounts; photos uploaded there are used to publish their corresponding page.
Favourites in this browser
We store the IDs of destinations you save in your browser’s local storage, under turismo-bolivia:favorites:v1. No account is needed. Remove them with the heart button or clear site data in your browser. Clearing site data also removes your local selection.
Search and navigation
Search filters the catalogue on your device. Searches from the homepage may appear in the page address and browser history. Filter settings are kept in the tab’s history to make returning easier. Do not enter personal information or passwords into search.
External resources and links
The website uses Google Fonts and photographs that may load from Wikimedia or other image servers in the catalogue. Loading these files connects your browser to those providers and sends necessary technical information, such as your IP address. External maps, licence pages and other linked websites have their own terms.
Scope of this version
The current website code includes no advertising, advertising pixels or visitor analytics tools. Hosting may process technical logs to deliver and protect pages. Before public launch, the site operator and a privacy contact must be identified. This information must be reviewed if forms, accounts, analytics or ads are introduced.
